Congratulations! Your work has been Selected to appear in the American Illustration 28 annual.
On behalf of entire jury, I thank you for your submission and support of American Illustration. This year’s distinguished jury included Luis Blanco, INTERspectacular; Max Bode, The New Yorker; Ken DeLago, Golf Digest; Kelly Doe, The New York Times; Matthew Lenning, Bon Appetite; Mitch Nash, Blue Q; Justine Strasberg, Nickelodeon; Michael Uman, INTERspectacular.
From a record-breaking 8,100 pictures entered by over 1,200 illustrators, magazines, agencies and publishers, the jury selected only 381 images by a majority vote or better to appear in the book and represent the best pictures from 2008. AI28 will be printed in full color and distributed world-wide in hard-cover immediately after The Party, November 12, 2009. Invitations with details will be sent later in the year. All selected illustrators and selected entrants will be invited to attend with our compliments, so save the date and be sure to attend this highly anticipated, one-of-a-kind, annual event.

此插畫獎針對全美國及世界各地插畫家皆可報名，入選者分成Selected和Chosen兩類，Selected會刊在年底出版的年鑑和AI網站上，Chosen只會放在網站上。
原本想可以被Chosen就很高興了，沒想到可以是Selected！！
